Its impact lies in optimising human performance and healthspan, with a strong user base among professional athletes and teams (e.g., Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Ferrari F1). The platform has also demonstrated clinical utility, particularly in early COVID-19 detection through respiratory rate monitoring. 

Hilo, formerly known as Aktiia, is a Swiss-based health technology company that has developed a revolutionary cuffless blood pressure monitoring system. The company is on a mission to make blood pressure monitoring easy, continuous, and actionable, thereby helping to prevent heart attacks and strokes.

 

The Product: Hilo offers a continuous, cuffless blood pressure monitoring system. The device, worn on the wrist, provides 24/7 blood pressure data without the need for traditional, inflatable cuffs. 

 

Impact: With over 130,000 users globally and a 76% revenue growth in 2025, Hilo is making significant strides in preventative cardiovascular care. A 2025 company report found that users who monitor continuously are four times more likely to achieve their target blood pressure within six months than with traditional methods.

Apollo Neuro is a US company with a wearable that helps your body handle stress better. It uses gentle vibrations to help you feel calm and in control, boosting heart rate variability and reducing stress and anxiety.

 

The Product: The Apollo wearable is a device worn on the wrist or ankle that delivers non-invasive, vibroacoustic stimulation. The bracelet prevents unwanted wake-ups before they happen, make the user sleep longer with 60 minutes more sleep a night, sleep deeper with improved deep and REM sleep.

 

Impact: With over 100,000 users, Apollo Neuro has a significant user base. In 2025, users collectively gained 143.8 million minutes of additional sleep. A clinical trial at Washington State University also showed a significant reduction in burnout among medical students using the device.

Cala Health is changing how we treat chronic diseases with wearable therapies. They focus on helping people with neurological disorders, especially those with essential tremor.
